The ceremony to award certificates to the teachers who successfully passed the Final Dham Guru Examination of the Archdiocese of Colombo for the year 2023 was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Hall in Rajagiriya under the patronage of Bishop J.D. Anthony Jayakody, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Colombo.
During the ceremony, 133 teachers representing various districts of the Archdiocese received their certificates from the Bishop in recognition of their successful completion of the examination.
Among those present at the occasion were Rev. Fr. Pradeep Niroshan, numerous priests, religious brothers, and sisters who gathered to encourage and appreciate the commitment of the teachers towards catechetical ministry.
The event was organized by Rev. Fr. Dinesh Prashan, Director of the Archdiocesan Catechetical Apostolate, whose efforts contributed greatly to the successful conduct of the programme.
The ceremony highlighted the Archdiocese’s continued commitment to strengthening faith formation and supporting catechetical education through the dedication and service of its teachers.
