With deep sorrow, the Archdiocese of Colombo announces the passing of Rev. Fr. Benedict Joseph. We commend his soul to the mercy of God and invite the clergy, religious, and lay faithful to pray for the repose of his soul and to give thanks for his priestly ministry.

Remains: Friday, 12 September, 5.30 p.m.

Sacred Heart Chapel, Archbishop’s House.

Funeral & Requiem Mass: Saturday, 13 September, 3.00 p.m.

Followed by burial at Borella General Cemetery.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
