The 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Young Catholic Students’ (YCS) Movement of the Archdiocese of Colombo was held recently at the St. Joseph’s College Auditorium, Colombo, under the patronage of His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Archbishop of Colombo.

The celebration brought together a large gathering of YCS members from across the Archdiocese, together with District Directors and clergy, in thanksgiving for 75 years of nurturing faith, leadership, and Christian witness among young people. The event was organized by the Archdiocesan Director of the Young Catholic Students’ Movement, Rev. Fr. Prageeth Ishan, and marked a significant milestone in the history of the movement while reaffirming its mission of forming young disciples committed to the Gospel and the service of society.
